Yummy and perfect for holidays! I must mention to NOT omit the brandy, it's really necessary for the flavor; I tried a batch without it and it was okay... but the brandy takes it to a whole other level.. and for those of you worried about "alcohol" let me assure you that you won't get drunk or anything, the alcohol cooks out and just the flavor is left. It's just hard to find a small amount of brandy; what I did was go to a casino bar, ordered a shot, took it into the restroom and poured it into a little plastic container and took it home to use in this recipe... oh no, did I say that out loud...
