Not necessarily, once you've preheat the big sufuria on the jiko you can set the smaller one can inside immediately and cover with a lid and place the heated makaa on top

after making sure makaa imewaka zote..huwa natoa almost three quarters.. Most of it i concentrate on the top ndio keki isiungue na chini
