Fry both sides for 2 minutes then add your onions and gravy and let it simmer for about 1 + 1/2 hours on simmer the liver just adds flavour to the gravy stir it occasionally. 😃

I am looking for a resipe for a liver stew. By putting a stew pack & potatoes onions pepper, gravy.
I need to know if i can put it all in a slow cooker or if i have got to do something with the liver first before doing this.
It will be pigs liver.

@cook_28792576 no the potatoes will just turn to mash and thicken. Unless you use new potatoes with the skin on they will stay solid.

ON THE HOB IN A LARGE FRYING PAN AFTER FRYING BOTH SIDES OF THE LIVER, ADD THE ONIONS ON VERY LOW SIMMERING FOR 1-1/2 HOURS. Stirring often SLOWCOOK IN A SLOWCOOKER FOR AT LEAST 4 - 6 HOURS HOPE YOU ENJOY 😀
