Nothing to get surprised. This Tea is very common in Himachal Pradesh, J&K, and Pakistan. It's also called Gulabi Chai.

Guess u are not from kashmir. Otherwise you'ld have known no sugar is added in noon chai...just salt and thus the name (noon means salt). Plus what you added is baking powder i guess as per the picture you have added. Lastly noon chai looks cmpltly pink not the colour yours has become.

I just gave twist by adding pinch of sugar. I made it with Green Tea that's why did not got colour what you sent pic. I know there is special Kashmiri Chai which is totally different. I have added Soda while boiling tea. I got chance to have it 2-3 times when I was there as tourist. Thanks for information.
