I got them from the butcher on the market in Wolverhampton! I sometimes seen them also called maple or carlin peas in health food shops.

The are available from Leese Butchers in Bloxwich (near Home Bargains) cost £1 /1lb. enjoy

thank you for this recipie. Found one on a different website that had onions & pearl barley in it and my yamyam partner almost had a heart attack! Will be making this tonight as my peas have been soaking overnight and I'm excited to try it! He loved my scouse so hopefully I'll love this too! Haha.
