These cookies disappeared by the next dayBut after the initial tasting, I noticed that there was a bit of bitter baking soda taste. I think they might need a bit more acid than provided by the small amount of molasses in the brown sugar.One might try to correct it by using only half the baking soda, but these certainly weren't over-rising cookies. So I think the better correction might be use baking powder, instead, and double it to 2 tsp. (Perhaps 1 tsp of each would work well, too.) I'll report back if I get a chance to try that.
