Extreme chocolate brownies

Cookie8556 @cook_2779555
My family loves this I'm the only one that doesn't make brownies from the box and these are delicious

Jarin @cook_2841485
Worst recipe ever... I've made this as directed... But it was nothing but a mess.. The sugar was over powered and excessive... And the cake raised n hard up from first 10 minutes... The more time runs the outside becomes crunchy but leaving inside raw... I gave 50!! Minutes, the cake even left raw inside and burnt outside... I hate this recipe. I'll give a Ziro star but zero won't counted as a review... So here its 1.5 star :'(

Larsenay @cook_2877223
Worst cake recipe ever.Everything about this recipe is terrible. The cake ends up really dry and the sugar is overpowering. Take a third of the sugar and add some milk too make this recipe 1000 times better.

Lil_Momma @lil_momma
I followed the recipe as directed and got a delicious fudgey gooey chocolate brownie. You know it was a hit when my friend asked for the recipe

Matzetias @cook_2900691
Same here like Jarin. Too much sugar. Like caramel....

to make it a vegetarian dish. just add 2 bananas in place of the eggs! and use a little less sugar as the bananas will give it a touch of sweetness. :)

Ms.Baker_Boo @cook_2919078
My brownies turned out grrreat! I melted some white chocolate and added on top. Just deco-ed the top with glacier cherries for the Christmas cheer!
SuperFluffyBunny @cook_2986852
Even after cutting the sugar by half, it was dry and not even moist. Going to add water next batch and hopefully a better batch. I hate to have tried it with 3 cups of sugar.

Sweetoholic @cook_2988456
Yum! I found they're better a day later when they moisten in the centre. I used choc liquer too. ;-)

Erica Benn @cook_2993588
I give it a five thought it was amazing in every little way and not messy but I cook all the time so I guess I learned to clean up as I go easy:) I love it!!!!!!

Lindsay @cook_3014331
these were great! family had them with ice cream and little bit of chocolate syrup on top mmmmm. :brobrobrobro

alexoke @cook_3045237
id never made brownies before, but was very impressed how these turned out. the only change I made was took them out the oven a little sooner, 25 mins. exceent recipe :-)

amausethgowett @amymauseth
LOVE THIS RECIPE!!! Sorry Mom, it is even better and easier than yours. ..I added marshmallows and chunks of Hershey bars too, FABULOUS! !! :ohyeaah

allure2pretty @cook_3050235
thank you, thank you great recipe. I use to always by the really expensive brownie mix in the store and this out does that box mix by 3x better..my fav brownie hands down

bolandzinke @cook_3133500
I cut the sugar in half and they were definitely sweet enough. ive had better brownies, they were a little bit dry. recommend a different recipe.

carly f @cook_3200474
These were the best I've ever made!!! soft, chocolatey, moist, and super easy to make:)

dave.malupo @cook_3239127
This recipe turned out great. Like others I thought the sugar would be excessive but it worked really well. They tasted great and the consistency of the end result was perfect. I used M&M's instead of choc chips and it worked well. These brownies freeze well which is good cause this recipe makes alot of brownies.
ellie.haferman @cook_3290796
Not the best ever but not awful. The texture wasn't exactly what I like.
groovylilsexy.hs @cook_3348812
I can say these brownies have potential but are for the most part gross, to much sugar and way to sweet, the sugar taste is 90% of the flavor......if it wasn't that sweet then my kids would have tore them up!!! my 11 yr old said that he couldn't finish it it was way too sweet, and we are talking about a child who puts so much nesquick in his milk that I have to fix it for him now because when I poured the bottom centimeter of reminisce out it looked like a mud slide lol......so needless to say these weren't good......

Hinesenberg @cook_3368543
the bin is the best place for this recipe, should have a name change to chocolate flavoured sugar :-@

Jennifer Bloom @cook_3411114
Worst brownies. I followed the directions but they turned out bad... Pretty disappointed to be honest...

jaimiejaims @cook_3397460
Followed some suggestions from others. I halved the sugar and added a splash or two of milk before adding chocolate syrup and chips to get a better batter consistency. This will be my go to if i want a one bowl brownie and not have to use a double boiler. I would recommend mixing the butter/sugar first like with most baking recipes, add the listed wet ingredients, then the dry ingredients, milk (if you use it), and finally chocolate chips/syrup.

Jesse @jhop16
I was utterly underwhelmed. I wish I had added some milk or vegetable oil because they were dry. They weren't bad tasting, but they were not very great tasting either. I halved the sugar like many reviewers did and found the cocoa overpowered and that they were not very sweet at all. I was so disappointed because many reviewers seemed to enjoy them. Definitely not worth the work, time, or ingredients required for this recipe.

mhaws03 @cook_3438474
This is a very good recipe if done correctly. Mine were delicious. You know, some baseball gloves catch better than others.
jollylady @cook_3448389
Great recipe! First time I made them, they were a little too sweet. I had used Ghirardelli coco and chips with the 3 cups sugar and added 1/4 cup Hershey's syrup. Second batch, I used 2.5 cups sugar rather than 3 cups. I also used about 1/8 cup Ghirardelli syrup along with the coco and chips. Extreme chocolate bliss with a slight crunch on top and a little chewy. :excited

KarL Stroud @cook_3475706
Bad but not terrible. I've had worst brownies but definitely not worth the effort.

jvszuniga @cook_3466760
I have made these twice, first time I cut sugar in half and second followed to the T, I will not make these again. Family not approved!

kdunham930 @happymomma
Love this rescipe!!!!! Best brownies ever.....i love chocolate! I took a batch to work at they were a huge hit... people wore asking me my secret ;-). A little messy to make, but sooooooo worth it! <3
kitaaaagirl @cook_3505856
These were the most amazing brownies! Such a hit at the family gathering :cookie

Kristy Campbell @cook_3517665
I thought these were OK, with my usual changes. I don't like sweet brownies, so used just under one cup sugar plus about half cup brown sugar (to help with moistness). I added an extra egg for moistness also. Results are a good brownie! To Jarin, who seems to have problems with this recipie....if you don't want so sweet, you should know to lessen amount of sugar. As for outside burning and inside raw....sounds to me like they were baked at 350-centigrade instead of 350-farenheit as states in recipie!! Recipes are useful guidelines, but sometimes need adapting, ie for high altitudes, very humid environments, etc. There is no need to be this nasty in reviewing. If it doesn't work, analyse your processes and try again before trashing the recipie, you may discover a really good recipie that way.

Lyn Bloodworth @cook_3574996
Made this yesterday.....OMG they're soooo good. Definitely a keeper and so easy to make. Will never buy box brownies again,,

marina.vlachaki @warinagr
Very nice recipe, the brownies came out moist and very tasty. One thing to be careful of is the sugar; it's way too much. We only put 500 grams and still it was more than enough. Also, the sugar needs to melt/be mixed well, otherwise you will feel it being crunchy.

Belinda Davidson @Nkotbgatorgirl
Best brownie recipe I've tried, this will be my go to recipe for brownies.

nicolerosepace @cook_3690476
brownie mixture was a little dry so I added a little water and they came out amazing! hubby says they were the best brownies yet!

Gail @cook_3822406
They were ok. Not the worst brownie ever but nothing special or anything I'd ever want to make again. They were dry and the cocoa was a little overpowering. Also to much sugar. Just not a great brownie. I like a chewy fudgier texture but these were kind of a dry cakey texture. Not thrilled, sorry
sparklegirl345 @cook_3858989
My son made these brownies and they turned out great! They are sweet moist brownie and paired with a scoop of vanilla ice cream while warm..awesomeness! :cookie

tekhoff @cook_3899723
They weren't bad brownies at all. If I made them again I would definitely put less sugar in. They did seem to have a different taste and I feel it might have been the type of coco I used. They did however cook perfectly in the oven and came out super moist.

shelly_belly @cook_3833668
Was super yummy. followed the recipe as said. Turned out so gooey yum yum yum. flat mates ask for them all the time :) going to try some ideas from other reviews

xxJessiexx @cook_3972705
Mine turned out pretty good to be honest I used self raising flour so they raised a bit but still tasted pretty good. I didn't use as much sugar as I'm not really a 'sweet food' person:hungry :positive

tanya.johnson @cook_3891875
I make these and it always takes 20 to 25 minutes longer to bake than the cook time in the recipe, and I don't believe the Hershey syrup is needed for the moisture and without it and the Chocolate chips you can't say chocolate extreme
