one of my favorite summertime treats. I stirred everything together and added apples, lemon juice and zest and used only half the sugar. I also halved the sour cream and used greek yogurt. everyone devoured this.

Made (tried out) today for large family meal. It was a huge hit! Procedure seems incomplete in write up, so I just combined all ingredients together. However, I cut amount of sugar in half and doubled the amount of pecans. Also used red and white grapes for variety and visual contrast. EVERYONE LOVED IT! Can't wait for another ocasion to make again.

I got this recipe from my mother. We replace the sour cream with whipped marshmallow and top with salted sunflower seeds.
