Also if you add 1 cup of Crisco grease it makes it fluffier and very tasteful! I use it all the time! Friends love it! We bake cakes for parties and ect, and it is requested just about ever time!

My family really LOVED the frosting (I made red velvet cake from scratch) ...This was delicious and easy to make!! I doubled the recipe for my 3 layer cake & just barely had enough! Highly recommend!! :positive

This is a great basic recipe! I added 1 Tbs lemon extract in addition to the vanilla extract - so yummy!
