For step 2 is it the dried or fresh mushrooms you soak in the bowl?Also when put the lasagne sheets in do you spread the white sauce on every layer or just the top one?

Hi! Dried mushrooms, the white sauce is divided, 2/3 mixed with mushrooms to form you layers inside and then the last 1/3 just the white sauce for the top layer! Hope that makes sense 😊

Could I make everything early, put the lasagne together and do the last step later? Or would all the steps need to follow directly after the other? Hope that makes sense.

Yes! You could do either, this recipe makes two meals me and my family, so I keep half in the fridge for the next day... but you could store I separately or layer it all and the refrigerate and cook the following day, but it might need a little longer in the oven...You could also freeze it and then defrost it overnight in the fridge an then cook in the oven
