This soup is awesome. I added carrots, jalapeño, zucchini, chili powder and used a roasted chicken like someone suggested. I also added some Cholula hot sauce. It was fabulous.

Instead of chicken breast, buy a roasted chicken from the grocery store and use the meat from that! Also needs a little jalapeno ;)

Made this earlier tonight. I ate it as the soup my wife and daughters ate it over lettuce as a salad. Not my favorite soup ever but would definitely make again. 5 stars rarely comes from me.

Very tasty. I made a few changes, though. I doubled the chili, added extra cumin, and used diced tomatoes with diced chilies. I topped it with blue corn tortillas, diced avacado and sour cream.

Soooo good!!! I made this with kidney beans instead of black beans, and spicy diced tomatoes instead of salsa. I also added a little Siriachi sauce. It is excellent and made plenty. I put some leftovers in fridge and am freezing the rest! I will definitely make again.

Topping with cilantro, sour cream, avocado and lime juice adds to the yumminess! :hungry
