I used the 1 quart size as thats all I had available should be able to fill 2 jars with the recipe

When you say upbto a year, does that mean out of the fridge in a closet or do they still have to be in the fridge

@cook_115418344 if they are canned using a canner and water bath method you can store them in your cupboard. if you're just putting them in a jar then they'll have to go in the fridge and they would not last as long
