I lived in San Antonio for over 12 years and now that I have moved to Oklahoma nobody makes carne guisada the same!! I am going to try this recipe today thank you!

It was good but i added a few tweaks. I added about 1 and a half teaspoons of chili powder more if desired for taste. Also added more salt and an extra 4 oz can of green chilis. It turned out just like what I used to get from Panchitos mexican restaurant on the Westside
