So sorry for such a late response, I'm not sure how big my pot is. But I think it can hold about 24 cups of water. Maybe a bit more. But you can use any size you like, just start off with less cinnamon.

My pot is to old I can't tell, sorry. But if you just add sticks to taste any size pot will do. But that is the largest stove pot I got😊 I hope that helps.
