How rude ChiCity! It's one thing to think that a recipe doesn't seem appealing to you (in which case DON'T make it) but it's another to shoot your mouth off and call something nasty. Did you even make it? Or did you just make an assumption based on the ingredients? Gees... :annoyed

We love White Castles so this recipe intrigued me. Don't let the ingredients scare you off. These are better than White Castles. I used 1#ground beef by mistake and 85% lean instead of 75% because that's what I had. They were amazing! Made 12 Thanks for the recipe!

If you are going for a copycat recipe, it's all about the flavor, not necessarily apprearance. In my opinion, having grown up in MO, ChefDRC NAILED it. My husband loved this, thank you so much. Oh, and by the way, I had to proportionally guess my way through it, because the bug in the 1/2 cp recipe hadn't been fixed yet. Bottom line, TASTE before you REVIEW!

thank goodness... I am so glad that it wasn't me that made that comment... I apologized for someone else. I have never been chicity and I am NOT from Chicago...Whew! It certainly didn't sound Like something that I would say.... I was freaking out. That is why I came back here... to double check. :whistle
