heart attack burgers
BDoshier @cookdoshier
I've been making these a while now. I started to make these around the pool so now there called my pool side burgers and always get asked to cook them. haven't tried the butter or sugar. Will have to look into that.

OMG!! ~(o.o)~ Those burgers were amazing. I was only making for 2, which was definitely enough, but I almost wanted to make more so I could eat some tomorrow! Very moist and delicious. The heart attack would have been almost worth it. ;-) I didn't get a chance to take a photo because they were gone quick!!

I think I would omit the butter as the meat already makes its own juices, I would omit so much cheese maybe to half as its a bit much and is full of oil itself, and I would omit rubbing with sugar? as it would just melt off with grilling and the burgers should still taste superb!

Made these tonight, the whole family loved them!!! I added two packets of French onion soup mix, and 4 cloves of garlic, my family loves garlic. Both boys had them gone in no time, mom could only eat half of hers because of how big they are!!!! :positive

My husband us the chef in the family, so I'm always nervous cooking for him...especially new recipes! Just made these burgers for him and he loved them! Super easy, and full of flavor. Definitely a keeper recipe!! :-)

I didn't use as much beef and cheese because I was fitting this for only two people. I also added 1/2 package of dry french onion soup mix, I grilled them and they turned out great!

Few things, instead of a bun, use two grilled cheese sandwiches, add bacon & a fried egg (: delicious.

learning to cook, and added a powdered chicken soup mix in leu of liquid smoke, and Velveeta in the middle and on top, but awesome!!!

melzep... next time try chilling the meat. when it gets room temp the fat melts down and gets sticky. put it in fridge for 15 minutes or so.. may have to do it a couple times while working with it depending on how long it takes.. just a suggestion.. :flower

:hungry: these were so good! didn't have time to take a photo, I also didn't use liquid smoke as couldn't find it in my local shops (uk based) so I added chilli flakes instead which gave it a kick we both liked. will definitely make these again.

Delish. I added arbys sauce instead of worchester, and 2 eggs, 2 slices of bread with lawrys season salt vs b.sugar. For sure need a nap after this one

Melissa Zepeda @cook_3619903
this was horrible. meat didnt stay in place. cheese came out. messy. not a good recipe. never making again! !! :annoyed :O

recklessmonet @cook_3761542
Overall, the burgers were delicious. I will definitely make again. However, I will be tweaking the recipe a little because i found the burgers to be a bit bland.

qtip @cook_3746185
I've been making velveeta and bacon stuffed burgers for awhile and there always a big hit at barbeques
vickijpd231 @cook_3947769
you can you use up leftover veggies or cheese and stuff burgers for a surprise filling. These don't have to be heart attacks with a simple few substitutions. But they are still good.
