Very nice, will be making them again soon. Cooking the potatoes in the microwave was a good idea! :flower

Easy and tasteful. I used a little garlic powder which gave it a nice flavor. The kids loved em!! :police

had forgotten how good these could be! had made them with no salt and some red onion. Very very nice.

I made mine with no bacon & they turned out great. The microwave saved time. [ok]

Theses look like they have been cut in halves instead of quarters. I think that works better.

I bake the potatoes in the oven until the flesh is soft when pierced with a knife. I then slice the top off and scoop out the flesh. I place half the flesh in a bowl, add some butter, shredded cheddar cheese, bacon and raw finely chopped onion, salt and pepper . I then refill the skins and cook for a further five or ten minutes until the cheddar melts mmmmmmmm:-)

Turned out good. But I fried the bacon and boiled the potatoes. Not into using the microwave for everything.

Have made potato skins many times, I recommend basting the inside of the scooped out potato with dijon mustard before adding the fillings. It adds more flavor!

I think I baked my potatoes too long because the shells were not crunchy at all. They came out thin and soft and fell all to pieces when I tried to handle them. Otherwise the recipe was good.

these are super easy & better than any I've had at any restaurant! only difference I do is, cut the potatoes in 1/2 not quarters, it holds the cheese & Bacon better...top w/chives & sour cream & wa-la...So delicious! :-P

vixyn @cook_3952429
I only cut mine in half... but I love these!! my mother taught me how to make them years ago and this is almost the same exact recipe!!!

MissDrea @cook_2909652
I tried recipe didnt turn out right potatoes were undone and raw wouldn't recommend anyone trying it!

rhyanan.crossley @cook_3768743
these were amazingly quick and easy. the perfect side for any meal, you can prepare the rest of the meal while they're in the mic cooking away without worry. I did my bacon in a small fry pan until crispy :hungry
