I love this recipe! In South Africa we call it a lemon meringue pie, thus we add meringue on top and bake it. We also add the zest of the lemons to the condensed milk. We also use cookie crumbs and butter for the crust. There are many variations to this recipe.

I made this recipe using a graham cracker crust for a really quick dessert on the fly. It worked wonderfully! Since then, I have also made this with fresh lemon juice instead of lime, worked like a dream. Thanks for this recipe, it's now a family fav! :ohyeaah

this is actually a light variation of a key lime pie,not lemon meringue.
