I made these without the bacon and cooked them over a charcoal grill. If you can do it over charcoal I highly recommend it! Its phenomenal!!!

I forgot to mention, I deboned regular chicken thighs and because of no bacon I left the skin on to provide the fat juices while cooking and to give it some charcoal crunch on the first bite. They were so tender and juicy it's crazy! Absolutely love making this !!!!
