This is a staple at our annual Whole Pig Roast. I make 5 gallon batches in a kegel.... I add 2 tsps of freshly ground nutmeg to add a deeper pie flavor. *****Use a WORT CHILLER to cool the pot of goodness. It will bring the temperature down to cool in about an hour. ******

I believe this recipe will yield a beverage that is about 10% alcohol by volume, or 20 proof.... how did you figure 80 proof or 40% ABV?

I simmer mine wit no lid to burn off water so it's stronger 🍎 favor one cup mixture one cup everclear is 95 proof it's dangerous
