I made this as a casserole dish instead (lined stretched biscuit across bottom of 9x12 glass dish).. it turned out pretty well. As a note, I don't recommend using butter biscuits because it gives an odd sweetness to the meal.. still tastes pretty good tho.. roommate and taco loving boyfriend approved. Will try again.. and again :)

Recipe was awesome. I ended up accidentally grabbed the grande sized biscuits, so I just loaded em right up. Had that and some spicy dirty rice, after 2, I was set.
