I mean its not only for that particular cake but all the cakes which include wines and that kind of stuff...the reason is that we guys are muslims and as a matter of fact,we are not supposed to have..

I often use Sake (rice wine) to add 'umami' to a dish and some liquor for sweets, but when my children were young, I didn't use any alcohol for cooking. You don't have to use them, I suppose.😀
