Not impressed - I tried the recipe 3 times . It does not help that cake tin size is not given . I tried with an 8 and a 9 inch neither worked. Nore is an oven temperature i tried 180 - 170 and 160 fan . all were over cooked on the outer edge and undercooked in the center. According to the picture it is cooked in one pan. I suppose it might just work if split into two pans . I now have to start again with a tried and tested recipe

The recipe will be a keeper if you can improve on it. Tried it out and i could see it was going to be dense. Added extra 1/2 cup milk and it was still dense. I would suggest you redo the recipe stating per kg each item used as well as the pan size. Thanks

Yes I retried this recipe...and I made some adjustments using cake flour ,adding a pinch of salt and toping my baking powder..I ensured my ingredients where at room temperature, as I used cold eggs previously...The cake was tasty... THANKS
