When I was a kid, my grandfather used to make this for us.
To go from simple to elegant, slice the tomato and mozerella in equally sized circles and stack. Then drizzle with olive oil and a fruity balsamic and serve with a sprig of basil on top! %%-

I make this all the time, but I want to add this. Balsamic vinegar glaze. The glaze is thicker & I drizzle it over every thing. It a very robust flavor.

I eat one salad like this 3 times a week... It is gorgeous! Try putting the mozzarella directly on the tomato slice before adding oli and balsamico. It kind of taste better - more fresh! :positive

if u love , love love fresh ingredients, when i make this i take fresh oregano, basil to this chop li fresh italion parsley and wow u have spring summer on ur table and good for u too
