arent you forget vanilla extract / bean and the main ingredient in snickerdoodles is cinnamon. cant make snickerdoodles without cinnamon. they are just sugar cookies without it.

My Snickerdoodles do not have cream of tartar in them. Will try yours to see the difference!

If they are not soft then you over cooked them. If you cook them for less time they are not crunchy.

I love these cookies. made these every Friday we had a free day in food service class. I lost the recipe (by heart) as I stopped making them years after school. but this recipe sounds about right. can't wait to make em. :)

yumm..when I was younger I made some and thought I had invented them:chef..I showed my sister I was all look tada I invented the cinnamon sugar cookie :excited n she said..snickdoodle n I said..yes cupcake??.. n she said no the cookie its called a snicker doodle..I was soo crushed.. :'(:cookie

There's no cinnamon-sugar in my ingredients list. Not even if i convert. I guess u use 1 tbsp sugar and 1 tsp cinnamon? Just to be sure! Thanks in advance! :-\ :grace. :-)
