Angelzor1337 @cook_2719626
I never thought of this mix, tater tots and sloppy Joe sauce! but it's so delicious. Can't stop eating it!

Clearly_Corrie @cook_2777462
Easy recipe for a busy weekend. I added sliced mushrooms to the meat for some extra flavour.

Dabearman @cook_2785839
Was very easy. The amount of cheese was overwhelming. If I make again will use something other than Velveeta. Otherwise excellent recipe.

Laura3126 @cook_2877646
was the recipe great w diced tomatoes.. was thinking rotel, thoughts ?

MommaBere @cook_2912843
Was a good dish. I think next time I will tweek it a bit. Add some mushrooms, use a spicy cheese & put the tots all ontop instead. We liked the crunch from the ones on the top. :nod

PatriciaAday05 @cook_2938265
it was really good! I used ground turkey instead of beef and it just came out as good. :-)

Tink5283 @cook_3000309
Hubby & I were in heaven eating this! We used tots on the bottom, which turned into a yummy hash brown consistency, as well as tots on top for a delicious crunch. Definitely not the healthiest recipe, but very scrumptious!

Typical fat American meal lol. It was alright, nothing spectacular though.
barbvf73 @cook_3106134
My family loved it! Easy to make, I even made it a day in advance, still turned out delicious!

becky.utzman @cook_3112592
I don't like mushrooms, but this sounds good what. can I use instead of the cream of mushroom soup? any suggestions.

Jared Strickland and Karla Dennington @Chef_of_My_Wolf_Pack
@cook_3112592 I saw that someone else substituted it with cream of onion and her kids loved it. Sounds like it might be worth trying. :-)

bgyorko @cook_3120357
lol!! sorry just had a discussion on tator tot casserole copywrite and i see this yummy recipe ..teehee =^.^=
wendy @bemiqtpi9
liked it a lot! tweaked it by making a bisquik bottom with half the meat mixed in and prebaking until mostly done...and pre frying the tots...so baking was quicker...husband loved the heartyness of this casserole....thanks a lot!
cackercat @cook_3155322
love this recipe. It is easy to play with & mix different ingredients into. Today I mixed in taco seasoning with ground beef & added green peppers. Yum! :excited

Carolyn @cinnamona
Not bad, I added garlic and onion powder, used an 8x8 pan and split the tater tots on top and bottom (after cooking them first to avoid them being too soggy.)

Jared Strickland and Karla Dennington @Chef_of_My_Wolf_Pack
@cinnamona Excellent suggestions! Thank you! Going to do what you suggested! Making this for the first time tonight!

dopenshaw @cook_3270369
Made this the other night and it was awesome! Husband already asking when am I going to make it again.

fevry @cook_3313394
Sounds delicious. There are many recipes that use a tomato based product and cream of mushroom soup your sounds wonderful.
gettevan @cook_3334524
My family loved this! I used tater tot crowns, gonna put some on top next time. Very delish!

1YooperCook @1YooperCook
Not bad but I feel like it needs a vegetable in it or something. I used Manwhich BOLD instead of the original for more flavor. Also used onion tator tots instead of regular. This seems like a good fall comfort food recipe... thick and cheesy. Hubby and son liked it!
jmae8883 @cook_3438605
Delicious! But for those who dont like sloppy joes sauce, just use spaghetti sauce.

kengyang @cook_3492842
love this recipe my sister mad skme for me wow went by like nothing for my family ;-)
krissi1982 @cook_3515586
This was cheap, fast and good! most of all it's filling. Will definitely will make this again. :hungry

Jacky @ladydecible
not the best thing I've ever had. it came out really musshy and the soups don't mix well. I won't be making this again. :-@

Jessica Stephens @cook_3521884
Shoot il eat the fat american meal i can use a few pounds lol i havnt tried it but omg sounds so delish :)

LORI @cook_3540935
What a great recipe can't wait to try it I think my grandson woukdlove this 😇

lionsfan82 @cook_3552741
Was very good. I added corn to the meat mixture and put the tots on top of the casserole. My picky son even ate it right up!

matthew.c.plummer @cook_3604846
2.7 grams if salt and 950 calories per serving? !? healthy like a hand grenade.

mimi.martin.376 @cook_3633707
I am so interested in trying this recipe. I am a mother who has a picky 3-year-old son. I wanted to try out different recipes for him and I came across this recipe. Would you recommend your recipe for my son?
momknowsbest1 @cook_3648277
i meen you wouldn't put a half pound of cheese on a half pound cheese burger would you?...i don't care how much ketchup or mustard you put on it
Ruth Herrier @cook_3751540
Velveeta doesn't shred well, it makes a mess. Fortunately I had shredded cheddar as a back up, it was delicious and the leftovers were awesome as well!

randy_bottoms @cook_3754809
This was extremely fatty. Maybe I'll use turkey beef next time. It was good, but I almost felt guilty after I ate it.

Seezy Richforever @cook_3818298
I don't get it. The tatie tots goes on top or all the way on the bottom?

Jared Strickland and Karla Dennington @Chef_of_My_Wolf_Pack
@cook_3818298 The instructions say to put the tater tots in first, so that would be on the bottom. However, you can change it if you want to. My family and I are dividing the tater tots to have a layer on the bottom and the top.

shaunteeweinmann @cook_3829495
my whole family liked it and that says alot because they are picky :-)

sheena.b.jones1 @cook_3831592
loved this...we eat sloppy joes once a month..so this was a great alternative to that..my hubby hates cream of mushroom soup though and so I used cream of onion in place of it..this is a must try..and will now be one of our monthly meals :-) ty
solytawatson @cook_3855321
this was ok. i think maybe i just need to use a different brand of sloppy joe sauce. it sounds amazing. im going to make this one more time a little different

swamper812 @cook_3882064
Big hit with the kids!!! Definately going into the dinner menu rotation!!! B-)

sywiggy1956 @cook_3886181
used a pound of hot Italian sausage & a pound of hamburger! It was really good! Hubby loved it!

Tiffany Gaube @cook_3903442
The whole family loved this!! I used 4oz of cream cheese instead of the soup since I didn't have any on hand... AMAZING! :-)
viking038 @cook_3949588
We cooked this last night but modified it slightly as we didnt have all the ingredients (truth is we didnt know what they were as we are in Australia and havent heard of them!) We substituted the sloppy joe sauce for 1 packet of Shepherds pie mix in 1 cup of water and ommited the
cheese . This was a great hit with everyone asking if we can make this a weeklby meal!!!
