In the mid to late 1970s this was called 'watergate salad', maybe in dubious honor of Richard Nixon. Now 'gate' gets applied to slightest of corruption/scandals. I no longer eat cool whip, but remember this fondly.

Do u make the pudding like the directions say on box or just add it dry to all the rest of the ingredients?
