Haha, I think they will have to reconsider their lucky snacks! I was actually chatting to someone about football and food yesterday, it’s quite fascinating. I love food history and traditions.

Anything in particular Rachel? The traditions surrounding and reinforcing food habits are interesting but, then again, how people in different places or at different times respond to all the imperatives of life is fascinating. That’s probably why I studied Social Sciences way back in the Sixties, as indeed did my wife. John

Gosh, so much to write in a few words! Yes, both so interesting!
Many countries eat sunflower seeds (including Spain) as a half time snack. Denmark (and many others) sausages, There is a west ham player that told lovely stories about food from home. I often attend talks and I find it inspiring! The British Library run done really good ones, but the season has just finished.
These nachos are not traditional though, they were quick and what we had in the cupboard 🤣
