I've made something similar for years...never thought to add ketchup. It gave my dish a little something extra. Still always add my sauteed onions and mushrooms. Thanks for sharing.

I doubled the gravy sauce mix and topped it with fresh sliced mushrooms and onion before I poured it on. This was yummy. Will make again :-)

I just made this for supper, and I doubled the recipe. This is by far the best salisbury steak I've ever had. The meat was so tender. This will be the only recipe I use from now on. Thank you!

I would omit crackers and milk, just add breadcrumbs and garlic.. for the love of god, drain the grease. i also fry out mushrooms and onions, and make a nice rich gravy, let's face it, the gravy is the dish otherwise its a hamburger patty n a plate.:-):-)

It was gone so fast I didn't even have time to take a picture. Even my youngest who is the most picky child ever loved this. I will be making this from now on. No more store bought for us. Loved it. ~(o.o)~
