Rice is great with almost any entree. When i was younger, my grandma would freeze her leftover rice so she could use it for another recipe. Your spanish rice recipe sounds good. I like my rice with a little salt and butter. It's so good.

My mother is disabled and I usual make her 4 cups.. So she can add it to chili, stews, .... When I was little she used to make SPANISH RICE... She would fry red tomatoes with onion and bacon drippings until it started the frying sound... And we'd put it on rice... I have a recipe for homemade rice a roni and Spanish ... And Mexican rice.... Chicken broth rice.... Pork broth rice... Girl we love us some rice!!!:excited
