Miss Mimmy's Old Dutch Pot (fried cabbage)

ChristineLee @cook_2775425
I made this recipe because the cabbage was in it and we love fried cabbage! This recipe made that dish a complete meal and a very tasty one at that. The family loved it! Thanks :-)

For years in my fiancee's family they've been making 'cabbage, bacon, and noodles' . Pretty much the same concept except you don't use chicken broth or potatoes. You just use some of the grease from the bacon and a little butter to cook down the cabbage. :detective

What an awesome recipe. Only made 1 change. I used an entire pound of bacon instead of 5 strips. Once the potatoes were ready I crushed the bacon and threw it all on top.

so gooood! :positive I don't eat pork, so I left out the bacon grease and used butter. I also used beef kielbasa. yummy
