I used this recipe and it turned out wonderful. This was my first roast! I also added a little extra seasoning. My husband asked me to make more... Thank you :chef

I made the mistake of not mixing the onion soup and gravy with the broth before I poured it over. Instead I just sprinkled it over the roast and veggies and then poured the broth over everything. Definitely advise to mix before pouring.

Very good. I would have liked a little thicker gravy and meat was a little under seasoned for me. This was probably due to something on my part. I did remove the juice and make my own gravy by pan. Overall I would make again.

I've made several different pot roast recipes over the years. I made this one today and it came out amazing. From this point on, This is the only recipe I will use.

I thought it was OK. My meat got a little tough and the sauce was thin and lacking in flavor. I won't make again unless I make some tweaks

This was amazing. The best roast I've ever had, and my family ate it all up, even my picky 2 year old:)

This was the best roast I have ever made. I think it was better than my granny's. :-)

I added mushrooms and broccoli and placed in a big cast iron pot rapped tightly and baked in the oven at 300 for about six hrs. I'm not a crockpot person. turned out excellent.

ok for everyone that its ur first time or say its not flavored enough here's ur solution... As others stated add more flavor but what I haven't seen anyone mention there is a thing called a meet syringe and as u first put all the mixes together use that meat syringe to suck up some of the fluids and inject that beast and as u cook it through out the day do the same a couple more times. Doing this will give u the most flavored and tender roast. I found a McCormick's packs of savory pot roast stew and u wana talk about WOW add one pack for every pound and ull never go to anything else. Good luck all

If you bake it takes about 8 hours to be tender enough to fall apart

Amazing! I used a pork roast instead of beef and it was still amazing.

Really tasty! I used a crackpot and took this to a potluck dinner. 10 hours for veggies, even on low, was way too long. Next time I decrease the cook time of veggies. :chef
