I make this often..especially for easter. .strawberries are always delicious this time of year so I make this to use to make strawberry shortcake. .I add some blueberries and whipped cream yummy..I use an angel food pan..betty crocker cake mix and bake according to package directions..comes out perfect

Absolutely fantastic. One warning: use pineapple in 100% juice, NOT heavy syrup. Whole 'nother thing and not so good. Doesn't rise. With the juice - nothing better! :ohyeaah

Madison, my 9 year old granddaughter made this for a boy in our church that wretched his knee around to the side of his leg. This was her 1st baking experience and she was very proud carrying.her cake in for Eli. This is a very easy recipe for beginning cooks. You don't even need a mixer just one large bowl and spoon to wash for cleanup

Yummy, moist, sweet. This is a keeper. Used yellow cake mix, baked for 35 min. Tasted it while still warm. Doesn't need frosting, will top with dream whip.

Very easy and makes a nice moist cake (I give it 5 stars for that). However, we did not enjoy it at all. Too plain and did not like the flavor. Makes a great cake for some, but not here. :nod

I made it as cupcakes and baked for 17 minutes and frosted some with cream cheese icing. Next time I will add coconut to be like a piña colada...very good and easy.

I made this exactly the way they said with an angel food cake and it was so good but it did stick to the pan so I will try a little flower next time after greasing the pan. I thought it was so good, that I decided to try it again only this time I used a regular mix like the recipe said and it was horrible. it didn't rise, and it was pasty, it was heavy and thick and nasty. I will never ever use a regular cake mix again, but I will most definitely do angel food cake again.;) :chef
