The one thing my wife wanted for our thanksgiving dinner was green bean casserole, so I made this recipe. She and all of us loved it. Very good. :evilgrin

Definitely the most delicious green bean casserole I have ever tasted! Will be using this recipe from now on! (I did half sour cream and half cream of mushroom soup.)

I strongly recommend using fresh or frozen French Cut Green Beans. I think it improves the flavor 100% lol.Great recipe. Thank you :nod

I like changing up recipes to make them my own. I used one can of Golden Wax beans instead of all French cut, swiss cheese instead of cheddar, and whole wheat Triscuits instead of Ritz. This was the best recipe I found for the casserole, however, so thanks for posting it! It was wonderful, and easy to cook.
