i bring mine to a boil... and tgen turn on low... i use vinegar ... but rinse it well before pressing... also i use about 1/4 cup vinegar to the gallon....DO NOT STIR..gently skim top to move the curds around... if u stir to hard you will break up the cheese .... because of this ppl say it doesnt work

this is homemade ricotta cheese. you can also substitute vinager for the lemon juice. add a bit of sugar to make it less tangy. also can substitute the cheese cloth with an UN used pair of nylons ( if cheese cloth can not be obtained ) and the ( whey ) ( left over liquid ) can be used in dog food for added nutrients. ~(o.o)~

this recipe is crap, didnt work at all had no cheese and wasted gallon of milk.

This is what we call "Paneer" in India. we use it in curries and other recipes too!!Its way better than other cheeses!! Enjoy!

made this but 31tbsp of lemon juice wasn't enough to make curdle had to add more %%-
