Great dish. Used bacon bits instead of real bacon cause there are some vegatarians in thr house. Was a big hit.

Good recipe but 2 teaspoons of salt is WAAAYYYY too much. Try cutting it down to 3/4 teaspoon or less.

These are very good. I didn't have cream so used evaporated milk. Will make them again for sure.

wen you say use heavy cream does that mean double cream?

I absolutely love this recipe! I have made it every year for the past 5 years for family Easter dinner and it’s become an expectation which I don’t mind at all! My fiancé helps me with the prep as it can be a little time consuming for me but it is so, so worth it!
