Yummy....you reminded of my childhood days...my Grandparents used to dry mutton at home sundry and sometimes kept hanging above the kitchen stove on the ceiling so that it dries and at the same time get the smoky flavour and then my grandma would make soup of various vegetables along with this dried meat. After the demise of my grandpa we stopped doing it.

@Jibitakhanna that's really wonderful dear to know that you all did it. In Hyderabad, it's a common thing. We all love it so much. After Bakra Eid, it's a must. And I usually get it from my mom whenever I visit her. My family enjoys it a lot. 😋👌
