I love this. I don't use water. I cook it in a 14in wok. The cabbage just starts to brown around the edges. Stirring almost constantly over med/high heat.

Its also great with smoked sausage too... ( not a substitute for the bacon, you still need the bacon grease)

This recipe was delicious but instead of using bacon I used some smoked sausage and added a little sugar it came out great

You should fry the bacon and take it out .... Saute your onions... Add the cabbage little at a time....the bacon can be added back if u like...
