@Welderwoman Bread has always been a bane of mine. I'm forever trying to get that perfect CHEWY crust with soft inside and golden brown all over. I've tried everything, but with this Dutch Oven it seems to have delivered 2 of the 3, perfectly chewy and golden brown. With some adjustment I'll get the softness down. That said I've tossed my aluminum French bread form and am now going to invest in a 2 loaf Cast Iron covered loaf pan, not cheap and somewhat hard to find but I'm convinced it will be worth it now that I know Cast iron delivers the crust, and I'd like loaves the same. Long winded lol

@Bill 😋 Sounds like my kind of bread !! And it's something that I want to start doing. You know my Greek Yiayia made bread in get this now...GLASS PANS!! And she made the best bread, mostly for Easter and New Years. We loved her bread ❤ Just saying those glass pans did the trick and they're NOT expensive 😉
