If u dont use moonshine it wont taste right. Any moonshine drinker can tell the difference. Everclear has a totally different taste to it. You would have to use a less strong alcohol in order to get a more mellow taste. This recipe is ok if u are not a real moonshine drinker and just want to try it but in the end real uncut straight from the still moonshine is what you need to use!!!

This is the recipe I use and I also use dark brown sugar - seems to give a darker color, which I like. Use 8-10 cinnamon sticks per batch. Once I was "discovered", most of my Apple Pie Moonshine is catered at Wedding Receptions, and mostly by local Law Enforcement getting married. It seems to be the favorite drink at any get together they have. They are very aware it contains alcohol - everclear, and I'm told "they have my back." Uh-huh, and hell froze today. Hope springs eternal...

Question please; does this require being stored in the fridge? I know best served cold, but I've only got so much room!
