This looks and sounds fantastic! Something I've yet to make myself but I certainly will. When I was in Singapore as a child, we regularly had a crispy lemon chicken dish there and this sauce appears to be spot on. With the exception of lemon zest and red pepper flakes. Anyway, I can't wait to try this! Thanks for reminding me!Update: I made this sauce a few months ago but forgot to post. I made it a bit more viscous than called for, put it into a squeeze bottle and garnished my baked salmon and steamed asparagus with it. Delicious Keith! This recipe is definitely a keeper! I'll be trying it with crispy chicken next! The leftovers also lasted for quite some time in the fridge as well. The food coloring also added a nice contrast.

Sooo good, only thing is ..( Full disclosure) I feel like a Moran, but the first two batches, I messed up on because I added the corn starch and water to the boiling sugar, lemon juice, soy sauce mixture, instead of mixing the corn starch and water together well before adding it to the lemon sauce mixture, also I used lemon juice concentrate, so it was really tart!! But sooo tasty!! I broiled panko coated thin boneless skinless chicken breast, then spooned the lemon glaze over top of the chicken and served it with a side of green beans, I also froze the left over lemon sauce, which I plan to use when I make my blueberry , lemon, poppy seed muffins.
