I have made this recipe for years using all purpose flour and 3/4 teaspoon of baking powder. A must try. Keep peaches on hand for a last minute desert idea. Is excellent served with sour cream.

great recipe. but i made my own crust out of frozen biscuits. Mines turned out fine. i wanted to be more fruity, so I layered it: pie crust peach filling pie crust and peach filing over the crust letting the juices fiow and soak into the crust.

i add vanilla extract.. and cinnamon to batter... and sugar and cinnamon to the top

I have been making this for years.....its Paula deans recipe, except I use canned peaches either in lite syrup or in grape juice....and I add 1/2 teaspoon vanilla and sprinkle with cinnamon before baking. Have one in now and house smells awesome!

I just made it today.I liked it but next time ill be adding cinnamon for a bit more taste..but other than that it was easy and great. =^.^=
