Cajun Crawfish Sauce

I halfed the recipe so I could fry the remaining 8 oz crawfish tails (it was a 16 oz pk) to put the sauce over and OMG it is so good. There's a restaurant in Silverhill, Al that serves this sauce over fried crab cakes and I had searched for a recipe that was equal to theirs and this is it. Thank you for sharing this recipe.

I made the sauce with only 1/2 lb of crawfish to top my pocket pork chops stuffed with crawfish boudin. Then used the leftover sauce the next morning to top crawfish omelettes.
