Back home in Alabama it's a pot of Butterbeans and cornbread with a hamhock or maybe a hambone whatever is on hand in the freezer sure makes for a satisfying meal 😋

Absolutely!! It’s limas or butter beans and black beans here in Florida but in Kentucky it’s white beans through and through. I actually do every bean I make the same way. I like cabbage and sausage and cornbread with mine. Hubs loves a fried pork chop. All us southerners do beans.
