It was good, but I would've preferred if the apple was chopped and mixed into the cake. Or, not putting in the apple at all would be ok, too. Overall, the slices of apple don't go well with the cake, but the cake itself was good.
Ps. I tried microwaving it, and it turned out pretty good.
