Im never heard anyone say dip the lasagne sheets in water but I’ll definitely give it a go - does it help to soften them?

@KateCarless it does! I have no idea where I learnt it but it means it won't have crunchy bits if your sauce doesn't cover everything. Lentils can absorb a lot of liquid in the oven!
