Honestly, I'm not sure how you would adjust the recipe for cupcakes. This dough is much more dense than a cupcake dough and comes out as a thick but soft cookie. The recipe source originally is Sally of Sallysbakingaddiction.com, so she would be the one to ask for certain. Sorry I couldn't be of more help.
