This recipe was followed exactly. 3tbls salt was overpowering. To the point you only taste the salt. Are you sure it isn't 3 tsp????

@@cajm I looked up the original recipe for it it really has 3 tablespoons of salt listed. If I remember correctly I used coarse ground salt, because iodine adds an off flavor to preserved food. Did you use table salt? If you did I am so very sorry!!! Some of my earlier recipes were kinda written by me still learning about writing them down so others could catch what I was thinking. I will change this to kosher or coarse salt. I am sorry I made the error of not being clearer about the type of salt. Please forgive me.
