I left my cookies baking a little longer because they didn't quite brown, so they weren't chewy. used dark chocolate, and none were left by the next day. perfect recipe.

I have to say I was disappointed in these cookies. They tasted great(right amount of sweetness), but mine turned out hard even though they were not burnt. I did change the time I cooked them for, but only because they were still pale, gooey, and had not raised yet with the recommended time.

Great recipe. I use1 1/2 stick of butter and use it as a base dough for adding any combination of chips and nuts. I highly reccomend butterscotch chips and pecans.
