Made it for me and my husband according to recipie BUT tomatoes and egglant did not render enough liquid to cook the cracked wheat thus it was hard to chew. I suggest checking the amount of liquid and adjust accordingly. Maybe covering with foil paper at the beginning ???

Hi, I am so sorry that you made all that effort and did not enjoy your meal 😞 I would suggest that you half cook the cracked wheat while in the pot and then place it in the oven with the rest of the veggies, or even try to half cook the veggies too. More effort for you but I bet you you will enjoy a fine meal! If you decide to give it another go tell me all about it!

I tried it again and it was great. I followed your suggestion and half cooked in the pot. Also, I picked softer and ripper tomatoes. It made a difference. Love your dish.
